Take me as You find me -- ALL my fears and my failures, fill my life again.
Rejoice in His name and not in your circumstances.

Galatians 1:23-24
23 All they knew was that people were saying, “The one who used to persecute us is now preaching the very faith he tried to destroy!” 24 And they praised God because of me.
People who will presacute you because you are a Christian will praise God for you because you act like Christ.
Salvation is not by works, not by the law, not by good deeds, good looks or IQ.
It's a gift of God!
If you have been given the gift of salvation you also been given the gift of wisdom.
How are you using that wisdom? Are you living for yourself or are you living for God?
James 3:13 & 17-18
13 If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wi 17 But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. 18 And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.
If you have the gift of salvation then you have the gift of power of the spirit. God's law shows us we are sinners because we have broken His commandments. We are a slave to sin and the only answer to free us is not our own will but, Jesus Christ is the only one that can break the bonds and chains of sin. When he breaks those bonds he gives us His spirit.
Romans 7:21
21 I have discovered this principle of life—that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong. 22 I love God’s law with all my heart. 23 But there is another power[e] within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. 24 Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? 25 Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey God’s law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin.
Joey recieved Christ today! Praise the LORD!!!

Tender Touch Women's Ministry
I went to Tender Touch September 9th 2008 and Kelly spoke on Personal Responsibility. It was awesome!!! God was so speaking to me.
Some of the pointers I wrote in my notes:
Owning Your Own Salvation-
No one else will answer for your actions and attitude; only you will. Ask for forgiveness and believe in Jesus Christ and it shall be given. Follow Him because you love Him not to get brownie points.
Owning Your Own Calling-
- Recognize your calling
- Do what you are called to do(even if it doesn't make sense to anyone else)
- Don't give up, Do what your called without asking everyone's permission
- Let others own their own calling (don't do everything)
- Let others have their struggles and work through (you're not the healer)
- Give others the opportunity to bless you.
What I feel God was showing me through this:
I have been struggling with not going back to peer counseling at Hope Pregnancy Care Center; since they especially need volunteers badly. God says don't worry about it. I am taking care of it. I am to not jump when a position is open. I am to go where I am called.
God was also telling me to get busy on what he has called me to do. I am so excited! And who was there and asked me to sit at her table? Tracie Tice, my mentor for my calling. Okay God. I am ready and on it. And I asked Tracie to lunch afterwards and she was wonderful with her advice and encouragement.

FEAR NOT
The message today at church was FEAR NOT. David didn't fear the giant Goliath because he was on God's side. Just like David, if we know God we have nothing to worry. If God has called us to do something then we are to do it. God will equip us just as He did to David. He gave David all he needed. Am I going to keep fighting God and His plan for me just because I don't feel equipped? God doesn't call the equipped, He equips the ones He calls. I will start tomorrow. God I will not back down. Give me the strength, courage, and wisdom. You will equip me with everything I need. You are my provider! I SERVE AN AWESOME GOD! MY GOD IS BIGGER THAN MY FEARS OF NOT BEING ENOUGH!

Revival
This was the first revival I have ever been to. I've been a Christian for over 6 years and never been to a revival. I recommend that you go to one if you never been to one. It was amazing!!! Completely Amazing!! I go to a great family fellowship and we had Pastor Doug and Worship Leader Chris from OK. They were amazing!! I so enjoyed my self and the strong walk that it has encouraged me to take. I will be writing about them in the next week. Awesome! I can't wait for you to see my notes. I know my notes can't do them justice but, I want to share what they laid on my heart.
